You do beautiful drawings of animals. Do you watch these animals in their natural habitat when you draw them?

Kesler, I am, as I have said before, flabbergasted at your work...every time I come here. Never ceases to amaze and overwhelm... and thesse are little pictures on the computer, I can hardly imagine them face to face. I LOVE this little magpie. What presence, light and place. The ground squirrel is similarly attractive, but the magpie really jumped out at me. Some of your pieces have such amazing illumination, your deft paint handling, economy of white ground.........wonderful!!!!! Thanks for sharing it-
